Honesty in politics
UK politics is suffering from a dishonesty crisis. Repeated mistruths and misrepresentations have led to the corruption of standards and the withering of basic ethics. This in turn has fuelled the escalating disengagement of the public from the political process.
This panel discussion will explore how to re-establish the primacy of honesty and truth in politics for the sake of democracy, those it represents, and those elected to serve it.
