Today in The Times, Compassion In Politics joined dozens of academics, former judges, civil servants, civil society leaders and cross-party politicians in calling for immediate steps to reset hashtag#ethics and hashtag#standards in government after the next election.

The incoming government has a unique opportunity to introduce a range of measures that could help to restore standards and voter confidence in UK politics for example a legally enforceable ministerial code, restrictions on lobbying and improving regulation of post-government employment.
