Ask Alex Davies-Jones to Support the Truth in Politics Amendment

The amendment we have helped shape, to extend protections against deliberate political deception to MPs and peers, will be decided upon this Monday 19th January. A growing number of MPs (thanks to your emails) have now signed up to support it. 

And thanks to a delay to the debate on the Hillsborough Bill we have an opportunity to put further pressure on the Government to ensure the amendment passes and that politicians can no longer deceive the public.

The weeks and months ahead are critical. As disinformation continues to threaten our democracies, we’ll be conducting briefings, media work, rebutting attacks, supporting allies inside legislatures, and keeping public pressure alive. This all requires time, energy, and capacity we urgently need to grow.
